Each year essays from the Essay Contest were compiled into published books.
"Children’s Voices" Volumes I, II and Volumes III, Book 1 and 2 are compilations of essays written by children from all over the world in grades 6-12 plus colleges and universities as part of the Eleanor J. Marks World Wide Holocaust Essay contest.
This essay contest honors the memory of Eleanor J. Marks, and promotes the remembrance, awareness, and study of the Holocaust.

In addition to the Essay Compilations, a memoir by Bernard Marks, founder of the Eleanor J. Marks Holocaust Project, is available (pictured below).
“My Father, My Angel” is the personal story of Bernard Marks, created and produced by the Sacramento Public Library. In this DVD, Bernie tells his incredible story of survival.
There are photos of the Marks family as well as images of the ghetto and concentration camps that held Mr. Marks and his father. Running time is 6:44.
